Fairground Events
The Stark County Fairgrounds, located in the City of Canton, is an ideal facility for a variety of indoor and outdoor events. Home to the annual Stark County Fair, the 80-acre site has several large heated buildings, covered grandstand seating, dirt-packed track, pavilion stage and acres of parking space.
Events
Events are held year-round, including auto shows, swap meets, home and garden shows, antique fairs, horse shows, demolition derbies, dog shows, corporate events, company picnics, craft shows, truck shows and community festivals. Reserve space for your event through the Stark County Fair Office.

September 21: NEO Pro Wrestling | NEOPro Wrestling returns to Canton, Ohio at the Stark County Fairgrounds for SET THE STANDARD with ECW LEGEND TOMMY DREAMER! Last year, we Set The Standard with the Championship Eliminator Series qualifying matched featuring the likes of Wilbur Whitlock, Joshua Bishop, Brycen Teller, Justin Mane, Dominic Garrini, Christian Napier, Patrick Hayes, and Andrew Palace all vying for an opportunity to become the first ever NEOPro Wrestling Champion! This year, the winner of August's GOLD RUSH ROYALE in Salem, Ohio - Canton's very own Dontavio - will have the opportunity to challenge Patrick Hayes for the championship he has held since November of 2023! |

October Weekends: Carnival of Horrors | The freaks come out every weekend AGAIN starting Saturday, September 28th through October 27th, EVERY Friday through Sunday starting at 7:30pm. Prepare to survive the 4 scariest haunted houses on the planet! Are you afraid of clowns? If you are, get ready for the SCARIEST NIGHT OF YOUR LIFE! You start on a horrific journey through an old abandoned FUN HOUSE. This is an extremely high-intensity scare oriented haunted house. Many have entered, but very few have left alive. Then you travel deep into the TRAIL OF TERROR, armed with only a flashlight, can you survive the deep dark corners of the legendary woods or will you get lost? Next you encounter the INSANE ASYLUM. We cannot control these psychopaths that now run this abandoned place! Can you handle this pulsing, winding and chaotic labyrinth full of wrong turns, dead ends and terrifying psychotic inmates? October 29: Stark County Sheriff Dept.: Trunk-N-Treat | The Stark County Sheriff's Department is hosting Trunk-N-Treat for the community. It will be in the Exhibition Hall from 5PM - 7PM. |
November 1: SCAS Election | The annual election for the Stark County Agricultural Society: Board of Directors. Voting is held at the Sr. Fair Board office from 1:30PM - 6:30PM. |

November 16: Portage County RCBA: Gold Jacket Classic | We were thrilled to create this amazing show when we realized there was a huge demand for a fall event in North East Ohio! This show has also grown consisting of regional club specialties and a double all breed show. January 26: Canton Motorcycle Swap Meet | The LONGEST RUNNING Swap Meet in Northeastern Ohio will be held at the Stark County Fairgrounds, 305 Wertz Ave. NW in Canton, Ohio on Sunday, January 26th, 2025. Doors open at 10:00AM and close at 3:00PM. Children under 16 years get in free. Parking is free. There will be over 150 booth spots with everything imaginable including plenty of parts. April 12 - 13: Portage County RCBA: Hall of Fame Rabbit Show | The Hall of Fame Classic Rabbit Show, located in Canton, Ohio, started as a small venture and has grown into one of the country's premier shows, with attendees from coast-to-coast. With a little luck, a lot of heart, and an all-star lineup of judges brought in each year, we have made a can't-miss show that we are truly proud of. Year after year, our show plays host to multiple breed National specialties and regional club specialties for numerous breeds on Saturday, culminating in our "Best of the Best" competition in the afternoon for all of the day's breed winners. We then turn around on Sunday, putting on a double all-breed open and youth rabbit show. |
