Fairground Events

The Stark County Fairgrounds, located in the City of Canton, is an ideal facility for a variety of indoor and outdoor events. Home to the annual Stark County Fair, the 80-acre site has several large heated buildings, covered grandstand seating, dirt-packed track, pavilion stage and acres of parking space.

Events
Events are held year-round, including auto shows, swap meets, home and garden shows, antique fairs, horse shows, demolition derbies, dog shows, corporate events, company picnics, craft shows, truck shows and community festivals. Reserve space for your event through the Stark County Fair Office.

Parking for Community Events
The Fairgrounds has extensive car and bus parking for large community events.

2026 Events
May 9: Rabies Clinic

The Stark County Rabies Advisory Council is sponsoring a Rabies Vaccination Clinic for animals on Saturday, May 9 from 1-3 p.m. The clinic will be held at the Wildlife Building located at the south side of the fairgrounds.
The cost is $10 (cash only). No appointment is necessary.
The clinic does not include a physical examination of the animal. All pets must be caged or leashed and in good health. Veterinary staff reserve the right to not vaccinate any animal that appears to be in poor health.
Stark County dog licenses and microchips will be available for purchase (cash only).

The Stark County Rabies Advisory Council includes the Alliance City Health Department, Canton City Public Health, the Stark County Health Department, the Stark County Sheriff’s Office Dog Warden Division and the Stark County Veterinarian Association.

May 16 & 17: OddMall

 It’s called Inside Out because there will be all sorts of great things happening both INSIDE and OUTSIDE of the venue. an exotic animal expo, outdoor games, Food Trucks, and dozens of artists, entertainers, cosplayers, crafters, and purveyors of games, comics, toys, collectibles, and all things strange, weird, unusual, geeky, bizarre, imaginative, and wonderful!

October 14:Stark County Agricultural Society Annual Meeting held at the Fair Office. Meeting starts at 6:30PM.
November 6:Stark County Agricultural Society: Board Director Election. Those with a current 2026 SCAS membership are encouraged to come out and vote. The election is at the Fair Office during the hours of 2:30PM - 7:30PM.
