“Fair Entry 101” Seminar, June 29, 6pm
How to Enter Your Best and Win at the Fair!
Join us for a FREE seminar on how to participate in the Fair. Plus, a BONUS presentation on award-winning photography tips. The public is invited to attend a “Fair Entry 101” Seminar on Thursday, June 29, 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the Stark County Fairgrounds in Canton. The seminar is open to the public.
Learn about the hundreds of categories available as we walk through step-by-step on how to enter your projects for judging at the 2017 Progressive Stark County Fair. Information will include how to enter online, new categories for 2017 and the various types of Fair memberships.
The seminar will also feature a short presentation by Mandy Altimus Pond. She will share her photography tips for turning your picture-taking hobby into a winner. Beginners and first-time Fair participants are welcome. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers from Mandy and other Fair officials.
Light refreshments will be served. Seminar attendees will be entered into a drawing for complimentary Fair tickets and copies of the 2017 Fairbook and paper entry forms will be available at the event.
The “Fair Entry 101” Seminar is hosted by the Stark County Agricultural Society and sponsored in part by Van’s Camera.
The seminar will be held in the ART HALL building at the Stark County Fairgrounds. Check online at StarkCountyFair.com under “Entries” to preview the hundreds of categories to enter at the Fair. The 2017 Fairbook is also available online for review.
