Scholarship

The Stark County Agricultural Society is sponsoring their annual Scholarship Program for Jr. Fair program participants. Special consideration will be given for an Agricultural related field of study. Two $500.00 scholarships will be awarded in August each year. Eligibility will be limited to any participant in the current year’s Junior Fair program, including Junior Fair Board and entering your freshman year in an accredited University/College. We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to apply for this scholarship award. Please complete the enclosed application and return it along with a transcript of grades to our office at: PO Box 80279, Canton, Ohio 44708 by July 1, 2016.

TERMS
Two scholarships will be awarded each August to help offset educational expenses. Each scholarship will be for $500.00.

ELIGIBILITY
Eligibility will be limited to any participant in the 2014 Junior Fair Program, including Junior Fair Board. Previous winners are ineligible. Recipients must be enrolled as full-time students at an accredited college or university.

APPLICATION
The attached application must be completed and returned to the Stark County Agricultural Society office at P. O. Box 80279, Canton, Ohio 44708, no later than July 1, 2016. A current transcript of your grades is required to complete the application.

SELECTION
Scholarships will be awarded at the discretion of the Stark County Agricultural Society Board of Directors based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities and other relevant issues. Scholarships will be awarded in August of each year. Special consideration will be given for an agricultural related field of study.
