EVENT PRESS RELEASE
An Introduction to Entering the County Fair Presented by the Stark County Agricultural Society.
July 24th and July 25th 2019
If you are new to 4-H, or no longer of the age to be a member, you may not be aware of the opportunities the Fair affords for entering projects and winning prizes. There are categories for 4-H members, ages 5-17, along with Open Class contests for all ages, that happen each year during the fair. It can be overwhelming to look on the FairBook and Online Entries and try to figure out what it all means!
The Stark County Agricultural Society would like to invite you to our County Fair 101 Evenings to learn about the Fair, History, what you can enter, How to enter – we will have an ultimate “How To” session each night!
On Wednesday – July 24 – Tamara Jorgenson, Owner of Grapes In A Glass – will talk about wines and the Fair Homemade Wine Competition.
On Thursday – July 25 – Mandy Stahl of the Massillon Museum will talk about photography and how to take the perfect Fair entry picture.
We would love to see you and answer any questions you may have that will help you enter your projects into the fair!
